And where have you been, little kitty?

LJ, meet Kiddo. She disappeared last fall, and I couldn't find her anywhere. She's an outdoor cat, so this happens sometimes. She's very friendly, so I'm sure neighbors feed her sometimes. Anyway.. this time she vanished for eight months. She turned up at solledrache's apartment today. (I've moved since then.) She's now exploring the new apartment, and complaining a fair amount.

Kiddo is a polite, beautiful, friendly and brilliant cat. She was born in our house in New Hampshire over 12 years ago. Her mother was a stray that stayed with us just long enough to have three kittens. We could only keep one, and found homes for the others. I've missed her a lot, and was hoping she'd come out of hibernation soon. Obviously, she's something of a survivor. I'd just thrown out some old cat litter I'd been saving the other day, figuring that might help. :) Maybe someday she'll tell me where she's been.

Aw! It's so nice to hear she came home. Absolutely gorgeous critter, she is. I have a special fondness for calicos. *grin*

*grin* I do peek in, even if I tend to be quiet.

My mother always says she wishes she had a camera to attach to the cats over the course of the day, so she could see what they were doing all that time while she was at work. *grin*
