As all this snow goes away, I intend to do a bunch of gardening.
I'm collecting thoughts, and thoughts mean pictures, and sharing.
Chinese Lace Flower. (Tallest of the Filipendula; growing 2 metres high. Feathery plumes of tiny pink flowers in summer. Very attractive deeply lobed leaves. Prefers protection from the heat of the day. Will not tolerate the dry, so prefers a moister spot either in sun or semi shade.)
Lilies: Guernsey, African Queen, Mixed
These are kinda ubiquitous, but I'll probably get some anyway.
Interesting Clematis variety. I already have some blue-purple ones.
Japanese Red Maple
I like the dwarf ones with feathery leaves best. I can't tell from the photo if this has the right leaves.Apricots?Sour cherries!
(I'm avoiding fruit trees which require pollination.)
Barberry-Red Leaf Japanese
Dwarf Blue Leaf Arctic Willow
Some other Willow
Sunburst Honey Locust
I also want these for indoors. Purple Passion Plant
Virginia Creeper (mm... ivy)
There will be raspberries. Probably blueberries, too.
Japanese Painted Fern
I love ferns...
More later, I expect.
